Thad Darden

Thad Darden is a Managing Director at Grey Rock Investment Partners. He is a member of the Investment Committee for the firm’s Net Zero Opportunities Fund and the firm’s Natural Resources Funds. At Grey Rock, Mr. Darden focuses on deal diligence, portfolio construction, financial modeling, and business development. Mr. Darden serves on the Board of Directors for Granite Ridge Resources, Inc. (NYSE:GRNT) where he chairs the Compensation Committee and serves on the ESG Committee. 

Previously, Mr. Darden worked at Bain & Company primarily covering the oil and gas, industrial, and chemical practices. During Mr. Darden’s tenure at Bain, he ran deal diligences, built growth strategies, and streamlined operations for numerous companies.

Mr. Darden holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia where he was a Jefferson Scholar.
