Dillard Pinkston

Dillard Pinkston is a Senior Counsel at Grey Rock Investment Partners. Mr. Pinkston assists in the management of Grey Rock’s private equity funds, the structuring and execution of transactions on behalf of such funds and advises Grey Rock’s portfolio companies. Mr. Pinkston also assists in the compliance and oversight of Grey Rock’s obligations with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Prior to joining Grey Rock, Mr. Pinkston was an associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP.  His practice focused on private equity and corporate matters, with a concentration on investment fund formation, capital raising, private equity investments, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions across a broad range of industries. His practice involved regularly advising investment advisors with regards to the formation, organization, and operation of both hedge funds and private equity funds and their compliance with applicable federal and state laws. In addition, Mr. Pinkston was also focused on advising real estate developers and institutional investors in the formation of joint ventures to acquire and develop real estate throughout the U.S. and in the negotiation of development and property management agreements.

Mr. Pinkston received his B.B.A. in Business Finance and Business Management from the University of Georgia.  Additionally, Mr. Pinkston received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University, where he graduated with honors.
